Convert your HPI SAVAGE RC Trucks into a HPI Savage Octane with your Bigger Gas Engine!
This Savage Octane Conversion Kit allows you to use a 23cc or even bigger gas engine on this lengthened 1/8 HPI Savage Chassis.
A Zenoah G230RC gas engine or a Chung Yang CY23RC engine is recommended.
Kit includes:
- 3mm Thick TVP Main Chassis (Left+Right) – 7075-T6
- Engine Plate – 7075-T6
- Engine/Clutch Bell Mount – 7075-T6
- Throttle Servo Bracket – 7075-T6
- Steering Servo Bracket and Steering Support – 7075-T6
- Radio Box Bracket (7075-T6) and Radio Box (Nylon)
- Battery Box (Nylon) – Internal dimensions: 110x35x22mm (Battery Recommendation 1 2)
- Center Rear Dogbone 179mm
- Throttle Control Set
- Clutch Bell with Bearings
- 30T Pinion Gear (For Single Speed Center Diff Transmission #XL90013)
Or 21T Pinion Gear (For HPI Savage Octane 3-Speed Transmission) - Screws and Washers

You Do Not need the items in the list above, if you are converting a stock HPI Savage Octane. All the items in the list are already on your truck. All you need is just a 23cc gas engine as recommended.

Very well made kit. I do not know if this kit was machined or cast but never the less this kit surpassed my expectations as I used to be a full time machinist. Everything’s chamfer, no burrs, no pitting and a very nice finish.
