Our Easy Adjusting 2nd Gear Set for HPI Savage 3 Speed Transmission solved this problem, by simply replacing the original 2nd gear #77076 and the shaft #86361.

The new 41T gear and shaft are made of 40Cr steel, with Tempering Process and Nitriding Surface Treatment. And the gear was treated by QPQ.
