I’m leaving to stars because it does not fit the HPI savage truckzilla 4.1 it also shortens the chassis by two or 3 inches The kit is confusing because no instructions and the rear driveshaft from the original truck will not fit because it’s way too long didn’t know it was going to shorten the wheelbase do not like that at all I feel like I Wasted $200

Purchased for my Savage X SS. Pretty simple to assemble, does not come with instructions but the instructions for the HPI conversion kit can be followed and found on the HPI website. Seems well built. Recommend if looking to convert a savage to electric. Only issues I have with the kit is the battery boxes are not designed the same as the HPI boxes. They have latches that hinge off the bottom box mounts. Took me a few minutes to figure they latches mount to the bottom mounts. Also the screws that come with the kit are not the same as the HPI screws and I had to guess a few times at what screws to use. Also a heads up and this goes for the rc4me and hpi battery boxes you are limited to batteries that have a 30mm height. But overall a great kit and highly recommend if converting.
